The Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife improves continuously the infrastructure of its five ports, performing the necessary works to ensure the operation and exploitation of them all, being necessary to guarantee the connectivity and maritime cohesion between islands and foreign trade.

Here is a brief description of the most prominent ones, such as the new container terminal in the East Dock of the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and, the recently completed, southern extension of the multi-purpose quay and the extension of the intermediate line of the Dock, both at the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma.
