In this section you can find a wide range of maritime information which includes the wave and wind forecast; tide table and other data related to the meteorological situation at our ports and surroundings.. 

Wave forecast.  Wave forecast. 72 hours horizon wave forecasting system, of local scale, specifically developed for the harbours and surroundings. The system takes into account the wave modifications when propagating up to the coast                 

Storm surge forecast system. Storm surge forecast system. The storm surge prediction system was developed by Puertos del Estado. This system consists of a set of different applications and programmes that are used to predict sea level using atmospheric data;             

 

 

Wind forecast.  Wind forecast. The Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has installed in each of its ports some weather stations which gives data of the wind strength and direction.

 

Tide table.  Tide table. Data can be slightly less accurate. The Instituto Hidrográfico de la Marina itself is responsible of the forecast and it also collaborates the Instituto Oceanográfico de Canarias.

 

Coastal and deep sea forecast.   Coastal and deep sea forecast. Coastal and deep sea forecast run by the Agencia Estatal de Meteorología. The first one is available from 9.00 a.m and the second one is distributed twice a day.
